Most people are familiar with Outlook Express, the e-mail programme that comes as a part of your operating system. If you have Microsoft Office installed you may have used Outlook. If you use e-mail at work you may be familiar with Lotus Notes. Each one of these will handle e-mail competently, however the latter two are not free but do offer a lot more than just e-mail management. The two e-mail programmes below are free, although Eudora have a pay-for version with more features. Mozilla Thunderbird

An excellent e-mail programme which is a direct replacement for Outlook Express. It has a junk mail filter and can be customised with Extensions in the same way as the Firefox browser. It is Torpoint Computers' e-mail programme of choice.
Eudora 7
A very popular e-mail programme that comes in three versions; a feature rich pay-for version; a medium featured sponsored version or a pared down free version. You choose which one you want when starting the programme.
